Holiday Cottage
The six-berth holiday cottage provides accessible accommodation with underfloor heating and modern amenities. Featuring three double bedrooms, two shower rooms, and a spacious open-plan living area, it offers comfortable stays for small groups. The property includes a private south-facing patio with countryside views and direct river fishing access.
Electric Hook-Ups
All pitches include 16-amp electric hook-ups with metered billing at current rates. This essential service allows comfortable stays for tourers and motorhomes while maintaining site sustainability through monitored energy consumption. Connection points are conveniently located across the hardstanding areas.
Dog-Friendly Area
We provide designated dog walking fields and permit pets at 1 per dog/night (max 2 per pitch). The surrounding countryside offers extensive walking routes with nearby pet-friendly attractions including Secret World Wildlife Rescue. Our policies balance pet access with site cleanliness requirements.
River Fishing
Guests enjoy exclusive river fishing rights during specified seasons. The River Brue location supports coarse fishing with day rates at 5 per guest. This activity complements our natural setting while maintaining environmental protections through regulated access and catch limits.

What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in available after 11am, with departure required by 11am the following day. Late departures may be arranged subject to availability.
Can I bring my dog to the site?
Yes, dogs are welcome at £1 per dog/night with a maximum of 2 per pitch. A dedicated dog walking field is available on-site.
Are there nearby attractions?
We're near Burnham Beach, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, and Brent Knoll. Secret World Wildlife Rescue and Rich's Cider Farm are within walking distance.
Does the holiday cottage accommodate mobility needs?
Yes, the cottage has level access, wide doorways, and underfloor heating. Two shower rooms with accessibility features are available.

Lovely quiet site . Adults only. Stayed over New Year only noise was from firework displays around the area. Very friendly happy to answer any questions. We decided to leave a day early for no other reason than the weather forecast for our leaving day wasn't very good

This is an adults only site, very quiet, all essential addmeanatives, showers, toilets, recycling, chemical waste disposal. Very clean and friendly, booked to go back there end of September

Like this site. Quiet, peaceful, adult only. Next to river with fishing. Shame the local bus service isn't a bit better (but not the site's fault)

Lovely flat site right next to the river and quite easy access from the M5. Surprisingly quiet with the closeness of the motorway, but well positioned for visits to the Somerset coast.

A super site. Very clean and tidy. Friendly owner called Tim. Nothing is too much trouble. Excellent site for dogs with two off lead areas. Very relaxing site and friendly caravanners. Lots of shops a short drive away. Near Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare for beaches. Other places near are Wells Cathedral and Street Village. What more can you ask for.
