Amazing food definitely worth a visit. friendly staff, great atmosphere, lovely open fire and the big bonus my dog was able to come in too and she was made very welcome.

A typically quaint hidden gem perfect for ramblers as off the beaten track per say but well worth the visit. Staff and owner ten out of ten. Highly rate this plsce.

Overpriced, small portions, unpleasant staff, booked here for Christmas party lunch for 2 no crackers in table, no drink included as stated on the menu, no Christmas music, staff not wearing masks, only veg was sprouts, and I e skinny dried out parsnip, desert was tasteless slice of loaf Christmas pudding. Very poor show all round and all for the bargain price of 58 avoid this place at all costs. And got sick of hearing staff constantly moaning about covid restrictions.

I cannot recommend this lovely place more highly. The staff are so very friendly and their service so very efficient yet not intrusive. We had a wonderful meal which was cooked and presented to perfection. Finally and most important to us, our dog Lucy was treated like a star, thank you Thatched Cottage Inn for a perfect lunchtime.

Lovely food, Sunday Lunch is especially good. Nice selection of beers and good wines. Really great and welcoming team of bar staff and waitresses.
