The Languedoc's reputation for bulk, value wine is both deserved (it produces more than any other region of France) and, at the same time, a little unfair. It can do so much more, with some of the country's most interesting vineyard areas hiding in plain sight. We'll show everything from coastal whites to higher altitude reds to sweet wines from the roasting-hot Roussillon.

About Us
Report
Tivoli Wines is an online and retail wine store based in the picturesque regency town of Cheltenham on the edge of the Cotswold hills. There's been a wine shop at 56 Andover Road since the 1980s, and our Tina has been here most of that time. It became Tivoli Wines in 2010 before David and Helen Dodd took over in 2016.
Our Wine Buffs
Report
Following nearly twenty years of advising on corporate property strategy, David put his retail experience and love of wine together by taking over Tivoli Wines in 2016. After taking some wine courses with the intention of learning a bit more about wine, he's now halfway through the WSET Diploma and owns his own wine shop.

Red wine
Report
Dig a little deeper into red wine and you might be surprised by what you find. We often think that we want our Reds to be bold, rich or intense and stay in our own comfort zones, drinking the same stuff week in, week out.
Take another look at Tuscan Sangiovese, Burgundian Pinot and New Zealand Syrah, or broaden your horizons by exploring Portugal or the hills of Mount Etna on Sicily and you'll be rewarded by the same intensity and depth balanced by a freshness that makes these wines perfect with dinner.A skillful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from two owners who know a thing or two about making top-quality wine.

White wine
Report
We're a nation that loves a trend, and that means that eventually we all have to move on. After the neutrality of Pinot Grigio came the vivacious New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, emanating tropical fruit and greenest grass. So when it's not Prosecco, what white wine comes next? You tell us, but we'd start here.
