I can only think of one word to sum up my experience with TSM - Faultless. Not a word I'd use to describe my riding before Tracey got hold of me. You will hear us mention 'Quality training' often, as T.S.M. has never needed to offer anything other than this, because we believe that what people want from a motorcycle training school is to pass their motorcycle test. For example, if you want track days then there are companies with staff specifically trained & equipped at the tracks to offer you this.
Compulsory Basic Training CBT

In this and following pages we'll talk about the different types of bike, what age you have to be to ride them & the different routes available to gaining your full licence. It is a series of elements, designed & monitored by the Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency, each of which must be completed, in order, before a C.B.T. certificate will be issued.

A non-refundable deposit is due to complete any booking. This deposit is included in the full price, once paid the outstanding balance will be due before, or on the day of your course. Remember, these fees are fully inclusive: the days you purchase are FULL training days with your tests on subsequent days!

Unfortunately all-too frequently, we hear from customers that other training establishments have tried to force them into taking a particular type of course. When you first make contact with Taunton School of Motorcycling, we will discuss with you what you want to achieve, including what type of bike you're looking to ride, for what purpose, and any issues regarding clothing & equipment.
CBT Elements

During which you learn what C.B.T. includes & why, undergo a basic eyesight check & discuss clothing, helmets etc. Linked to your instructor by radio, you receive direct instruction on what you should be doing & then get the chance to prove you can do it for yourself! After all, when you ride away at the end of the day, you won't have the instructor looking out for you!.
