
Sedgemoor Motorcycle Training is based in the centre of Bridgwater, Somerset at Bridgwater & Albion Rugby Club (next to Bridgwater College). We are a 10 minute walk from the town centre and a 15 minute walk from Bridgwater train station. We are also on the bus route.
We cover the whole of the West Country including Bridgwater, Glastonbury, Street, Wells, Langport, Highbridge, Yeovil, Taunton, Burnham-on-sea - the whole of Somerset, and in some cases we can come to you.We can arrange your Motorcycle Test with the DVSA and don't charge any extra for booking your test.

Kevin is the owner and manager of Sedgemoor Motorcycle Training and is fully qualified in teaching Direct Access Scheme, CBT, A1, A2 and Enhanced Motorcycle Training. Kevin has been riding bikes for over 20 years, first riding off-road bikes on farms and then road bikes.
He has a passion for Indian Motorcycles and Sedgemoor Motorcycle Training recently became the only Indian Motorcycle Approved training school in the country, so if you fancy a lesson on an Indian Scout this can be arranged.He has plenty of experience in varying road and traffic conditions so students are in safe hands.

Sedgemoor Motorcycle Training in Bridgwater, Somerset can offer the CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) course. Back in 1990 the UK government introduced the need for new motorcyclists to complete a CBT course before a learner motorcyclist (including mopeds) is permitted to ride unaccompanied on roads in the UK.

Based in Bridgwater, in the heart of Somerset, our DVSA approved instructors can guide you to pass the A1 or A2 motorcycle training courses. At the age of 17 you can go on to take a CBT course, and a motorcycle theory test and go to take a module 1 off-road manoeuvres test and a module 2 on-road test.

Sedgemoor Motorcycle Training in Bridgwater, Somerset offer the DAS (Direct Access Scheme) training course. Once you pass your Direct Access Scheme you are allowed to ride any size bike you choose with no restriction on size, weight etc. At the age of 24 you can take a CBT course and a motorcycle theory test along with a module 1 off-road manoeuvres test and a module 2 on-road test on a minimum 600cc motorcycle.

Sedgemoor Motorcycle Training are extremely proud to be one of only a handful of motorcycle training schools to offer the DVSA Enhanced Rider Scheme which offers the highest level of training you can get while still promoting road safety over anything else. ERS is recognised by insurance companies and it has got the crown logo on the certificate.
