TASTER SESSIONS If you're a CBT holder on a geared motorcycle we offer a taster session to get a flavour of us and our training style before moving up to a bigger bike and committing to an A1, A2 or DAS course. A course that most people have to take before they can ride a moped or motorcycle on the road, it ensures you are able to ride safely and competently on your own on public roads while you practice for your full moped or motorcycle test.
A course aimed at getting to a level where you can take and pass the test to get your A1 Motorcycle Licence which allows people aged 17 or above to ride a scooter, moped or motorbike with a maximum engine size of 125cc.The A2 Motorcycle Licence allows people aged 19 or above to ride a machine of up to 35 kW or 47bhp.

CBT Compulsory Basic Training

The training makes sure you are able to ride safely and competently on your own on public roads while you practice for your full moped or motorcycle test. The course usually lasts a full day but can take longer depending on how quickly you learn.
After successfully completion of the training, you will be issued with a CBT Certificate which is valid for up to 2 years and allows you to legally ride, with some restrictions, any moped or a motorcycle up to 125cc on the UK roads.During that time, you have to display L-plates, cannot ride on the motorways and cannot carry a passenger until you pass your full motorcycle license test.

A1 Training
Report
The A1 Motorcycle Licence allows people aged 17 or above to ride a scooter, moped or motorbike with a maximum engine size of 125cc. You will be able to carry passengers, use motorways and remove your L plates but will be restricted to a 125cc vehicle. After holding an A1 Licence for 2 years, you will be able to take the A2 License at 19 by passing the Practical tests only.

Instead of selling you a fixed price training course that takes no account of students' different experience and abilities, we work on an hourly fee basis which allows us to assess each individual and tailor their training for minimum cost.
