So, if you want an escape to the Devon countryside, to relax and unwind, then please take a look at our availablity or get in touch. We are happy that we are in a remote location, each cottage having it's own access and very few shared facilities and of course there is LOTS of outdoor space, woodland and field at Spreacombe.
We have decided for 2020 only to create a 72 hour buffer inbetween guest bookings so please expect a week's stay to either start on a Tuesday / Wednesday or a Saturday. Whilst waiting, took the time to do a thorough risk assessment and look at all of our procedures and now are able to display the Visit Britain, "Good to Go" logo and certificate.

History
Report
As with many old estates we have unearthed a few old tales that we believe to be true and are certainly fun to relate. We have very little information about the early days, save from the fact that a chapel, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist was built in the grounds of the Manor. This would have been a Catholic chapel and provided living quarters for the priest (2 small rooms) as well as the formal area for the congregation.
Accommodation
Report
6 well equipped holiday cottages in private woodland and fields, near Woolacombe, North Devon. The appeal to our repeat guests is our relaxing location - woodland walks, wildlife on our pond, sheep in the fields and only a 10 minute drive from our stunning North Devon beaches. We hope that the cottages will have everything that you need for a week away from home.
Fuschia
Report
This cottage is ideal for a family, slightly larger group or just those guests that want to spread out a little more. The recently fitted wood laminate floor has been a success in our lounge and we are happy to accept dogs in this cottage. Fuschia is is closest to the side gate out of the Spreacombe Gardens lawned area.
Hibiscus
Report
Situated close to the pedestrian gate walkers can easily get to the meadow path that leads to our ponds and the RSPB Chapel Wood or a short drive will take you to the stunning North Devon cliff paths. We have tried to equip all of our cottages with everything that we feel you will need on your self catering holiday.
Camellia
Report
Camellia, Number 3 Spreacombe Gardens has a lower step to the main exterior door, making it more suitable for those guests who may have slight mobility problems. We think that Camellia has everything that we you will need on your self catering holiday. The beds will be made up prior to your arrival and there will be a welcome tray to allow you to make that first cup of tea or coffee.
