Staying at Downe is the perfect antidote to the stresses of modern living. Located in this relatively quiet corner of Devon, the location boasts some magnificent coastlines and there are plenty of activities nearby for adults and young children. The owners, Jeremy and Lynda, provide a warm welcome, and are on hand to provide plenty of advice about the locality if required. Indeed, they provide a "book of the cottage" with a detailed set of recommendations which is very useful. Their attention to detail in every aspect of running the facility is exceptional.
