Use this firm everyday for months and usually reliable however rang a taxi at 11:30 battery died miles from home and at 12:30 still no taxi. No update no nothing stuck miles from home and luckily got a passer by to ring another firm, other taxi showed up in minutes. No doubt I'd still be waiting If I hadn't managed to book another firm.

I have used this company for several years and have always had really good service experience with polite chatty cab drivers who during covid have had a separation divider between the customer and themselves. And arrive about 5 to 10min after you have booked them which is great.
However, not the same service at all on Fridays. On the last 2 occasions (both Fridays) I have booked a cab have waited over 40mins for cab to arrive! & all you get when ringing them to ask where it is, is an automated message telling you that it's on it's way. The last resulted in us missing our train connection! They

Disappointing experience considering how highly rated Autocab taxis are.
Had booked a taxi the previous night for a 7.50am pick up, over an hour after the scheduled time I had a phone call saying they had come to pick me up. By which point Id already spent over 10 minutes cumulative trying to cancel the service. Only to be curtly told by the operator that I hadnt booked it for the original time, and then upon realising he was wrong, abruptly hung up.

The whole experience was very helpful. I called, a taxi arrived straight away, and when my taxi arrived the driver was very friendly and professional. I felt at ease with my driver and I am very impressed with the service.
