Services
Radiator restoration
Our radiator restoration service revitalises Victorian-era cast iron radiators for compatibility with modern heating systems. Using meticulous techniques, we preserve historical integrity while integrating thermostatic valves, heat pumps, and biomass boiler compatibility. Each restoration includes pressure testing and metric pipe fitting installation, ensuring durability and efficiency for contemporary use.
Column radiators
Column radiators combine slim, symmetrical designs with versatile heating performance. These radiators suit both grand public spaces and domestic interiors, offering a timeless aesthetic influenced by early 20th-century engineering. Available in various configurations, they provide efficient heat output while maintaining period authenticity.
Ornate radiators
Ornate radiators feature intricate cast iron designs reflecting Gilded Age opulence. These statement pieces, dating from the 1880s onwards, showcase elaborate motifs and historical craftsmanship. Ideal for heritage properties or design-focused interiors, they merge artistic detail with functional heating capabilities.
Bay window radiators
Bay window radiators optimise heating in confined spaces like window recesses or benches. Their multi-column design maximises heat output within compact dimensions. Purpose-built models such as the Rococo Window Radiator ensure efficient warmth in challenging architectural features without compromising aesthetic appeal.
Brassware finishes
We offer six premium brassware finishes including unlacquered brass, chrome, and satin nickel. These finishes enhance radiator valves, wall stays, and pipe shrouds, providing both functional durability and decorative coordination. Each finish is carefully applied to complement traditional and modern interior schemes while resisting wear over time.

Absolutely wonderful restored original radiators! We are so pleased with our radiators - they really do compliment our Edwardian house. The radiators our a fine piece of furniture on their own. They create such a wow factor when entering the room - all our friends have loved them too. We will definitely replace the rest of our standard white radiator in our house. Please be aware of many companies on the internet that also sell cast iron radiators - most of these are made in China and are not original and restored radiators like what you will find at - The Old Radiator Company.

Bored with a bog standard radiator? Want something with character and make a feature in your room? Check out The Old Radiator Company then. Amazing stock of old, cast iron radiators to choose from. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff to get you what you want. Easily fits in to your existing heating system and retains heat far longer than the usual type. Highly recommended for something a bit different to enhance your room. Picture 1 in the yard. Picture 2 in my lounge.

I hardly ever leave a review but, in this instance, I felt it warranted it. First of all, the product. I bought two radiators and they are stunning! One of the radiators was powder coated white for our bedroom and the other I spent a bit extra and, had it polished. The finish is beautiful, and is the centrepiece to our living room. The staff were so helpful as I had lots of questions and I could not make my mind up. The girls sent loads of pictures to me and gave advice. I chose the Crane style of radiator and used the valves/brackets that are supplied by the company. They are more expensive than

I sent in 9 very crusty looking radiators to be sorted, absolutely delighted with the result. Communication from the team was first class, the delivery/drop off driver Garry was so helpful and all the rads fixed and working beautifully in a shorter timeframe than quoted. I can fully recommend The Old Radiator company.
