Our first-floor private dining room accommodates up to 24 seated guests or 50 standing. Ideal for Christmas parties, business meetings, or family celebrations, the space features natural light, AV equipment, and dedicated service. The room can be booked seven days a week with customisable menus and drinks packages.

Our menus celebrate seasonal British produce with dishes like jacket potatoes, Sunday roasts, and festive sharers. Ingredients are sourced locally to ensure freshness, with options available for dietary requirements. Daily specials are displayed on blackboards and updated via our Instagram page.
Christmas Events

Yes, a 10% deposit per person is required to confirm Christmas bookings, with full pre-payment due by 1st December.

Pre-orders for Christmas Feast menus or sharers are required at least 10 days in advance, with 14 days for Christmas Day bookings.
Is the pub accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes, our ground floor and terrace are wheelchair accessible, though unfortunately the first-floor private dining room is not.

Lovely ambience, food good quality although slightly overpriced. Staff were exceptionally professional, friendly and efficient. Would happily return.

Highly recommended this place for lunches or dinner. Decent size portion and very delicious food. Sunday roast is also very yummy. Book in advanced as it gets busy in the evenings.

We were having a family get together before a night out. Upon arrival we saw how the tardis opens up. A long bar and beautiful dining area . Full of a chandeliers and painting . The vibe was great for a Sunday roast . We were promptly led to the outside dining area which was spacious and inviting. Service was quick and professional. When the food arrived it looked and smelt divine. With 13 meals ordered only one meal was late/forgotten. Unfortunately it was a child meal. Now the food . The portions were substantial. Grossly overpriced and very underwhelming food. This place used to be a hidden gem with the previous owners, but lately it seems to have lost it's charm. The food is very uninspiring, expensive, and ridiculously small portions for the price, plus very slow service. The managers and chefs need to communicate better as there are plenty of other options in Kingston. Will not be returning or recommending to others.

Visited the Canbury Arms today after discovering our regular boozer was closed. Glad I visited! Beautiful venue with loads of natural light. Decent selection of beers on tap including Beavertown and Camden Hells. Barman was friendly and even gave a brief history of the venue. Food was reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

Great neighbourhood pub that really tries to excel. It has a lovely interior and three fabulous outside spaces, one of which is mainly covered and heated. Good menu, good range of beers and excellent service.
