We had talked about owning a holiday home for years, and spent many hours gazing longingly in estate agents windows and searching for the right place. We fell in love with the Isle of Wight and particularly Ventnor, for its fantastic coastline and quirky shops & cafes. Finding Salty Holidays where we could lie in bed and listen to the waves on the beach was like a dream come true.

Originally built as a Victorian hotel circa 1844, Salty Holidays now comprises 5 self catering holiday apartments, each with its own parking and independent access and with a separate lounge, kitchen, bedroom(s) and bathroom(s). All apartments are decorated with a nice coastal theme and have wi-fi, Smart TV, a dvd player and a fully equipped kitchen.

Driving to Salty Holidays: Our address is Marina Apartments, 2 Marine Parade, Ventor, Isle of Wight, PO38 1JN. We are just off Esplanade Road. Getting here: Frequent services across the Solent make travelling to the Isle of Wight very easy by car or on foot. We have trade accounts with both companies and can often obtain cheaper rates so please enquire if you wish the cost of your ferry to be included with your accomodation.

A: Very close - it is only about 50 metres. Direct access to the sea front and beach is via a footpath leading from our quiet private road. A: No, we provide all bed linen. This will be clean and freshly laundered when you arrive. If you are staying for more than a week, we will provide a change of bed linen after the first week.
