The Oaklands Complex

The Oaklands Complex has been dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities since its establishment in 1984. Our organization specializes in providing personalized residential care for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer's, and related conditions, operating three bungalows registered with the Care Quality Commission. We maintain 24/7 staffing with trained professionals across our residential units, offering tailored support that respects individual preferences while promoting independence. Our facilities include communal spaces, accessible gardens, and specialized memory gardens that foster social interaction and personal reflection. In addition to care services, we operate a function venue licensed to accommodate up to 140 guests, featuring versatile event spaces with full catering support.

Our Executive Committee ensures compliance with Charity Commission regulations while maintaining our non-profit social enterprise status. We prioritize creating homely environments that balance structured care with personal freedom, involving residents and their families in care planning decisions. The grounds include secure outdoor areas and modern amenities designed to enhance quality of life while maintaining safety standards. Our staff receive ongoing training to deliver high-quality support that addresses both physical and emotional needs. As a registered charity (number 512326), we remain committed to serving the Warsop community through both our care provision and event hosting capabilities.
