Lovely clean hotel with spacious room in a great location. Lady running breakfast was friendly and very helpful, however room was very cold even with heater on full and windows let in a lot of cold air, we could hear when anyone moved upstairs as very creaky floorboards!

Dated, and in need of a make over. Great food, breakfast team outstanding and chef is too, two main assets. Bar staff on point, friendly and attentive.

Overall we had a lovely lunch. All mains were great. Juat a bit disappointed with the apple pie and lumpy custard. However will be happy to return for lunch in the future.

So we booked our wedding here for 2020 but due to covid it was delayed until August 2021. Cannot express the love I have for this place! They catered to everyone and everything we needed. Food is superb staff are amazing and the party they throw in their function rooms are the best! Secret gem of a place we love it there. It will always hold a special memory for us. Cant recommend this gorgeous place enough! X
