Make an appointment for yourself or ask me any questions you have by calling 07841 203 or emailing annya@annya-stoddart.co.uk. My Stowmarket based Pain Relief Clinic offers professional acupuncture treatment and a needle free alternative - Alphastim. When you book an appointment, together we'll review your health history and I'll work out an appropriate treatment programme for you.

Sometimes this is just acupuncture, sometimes it includes 'Gua Sha' (a type of deep tissue massage) or the Alphastim. Often it will include dietary or lifestyle advice including simple exercises for you to do at home. I'm a highly trained and experienced acupuncturist, with a background in teaching yoga, meditation, aerobic exercise and weight training.

Consultation and treatment sessions are 50. Many insurance companies pay for acupuncture treatment so if you have a health policy, check to see if it will cover you. Consultation involves taking your full health history (please bring your list of medication if you have one).

Your treatment will include one or more of the following therapies: acupuncture, cupping, guasha (fascial release massage, Chinese style), microcurrent (Alphastim), postural assessment, exercise advice and coaching and dietary advice.Acupuncture tends to have a cumulative effect, so while it is not unknown for a problem to be improved within one or two treatments, the best results can require a few more.
Alphastim
Report
Alpha-stim uses Microcurrent Electrotherapy to encourage your brain to get into the calm and alert mind state and be less hypersensitive to pain signals coming from your body. It's a bit like a TENS machine but much milder. In my experience it is also much more effective at sorting out poor health issues.

Annya's Acupuncture Clinic is located upstairs, in "The Green Room", close to Stowmarket town centre. The Green Room postcode is IP14 1EF. That gets you to Station Road West. To get into the Union St West carpark from there you either need to turn into the archway (opposite the church) or turn into Gipping Way and from there turn into Union St.
