Been there for Xmas Dinner today with 2 Octogenarian parents and a tweenage son.
Bloody marvellous. Socially distant seating. Timed bookings. Good food; starters and desserts prebooked but main course was a carvery, fantastic. Friendly, easy going staff and very reasonably priced for the experience. Totally recommend.

I have stayed there for work and I liked it so much I took a week afterward. If you want a comfortable base to explore the things this part of the world has to offer then here it is. I've got a new contract in Bristol and this is my choice if a base. Check out the Helicopter Museum aswell for that extra something. As I remember the staff are fantastic and the beer is good.

A lovely chalet/ lodge out of the main town area. Modern, with comfortable double bed, plenty of electricity points, fridge, en-suite, enough storage room and spotlessly clean. You can park right outside your room and there's outdoor security lighting. Would definitely recommend for a couple spending a few nights away and will definitely be returning.
