The Wheelhouse Veterinary Centre is owned by Independent Vetcare and proudly lead by our Clinical Directors Charles Winslade, Kevin Spencelayh and James Warwick'. We have had the privilege of caring for animals in the local community for over 50 years. All of our team members share our Clinical Directors' passion to provide our clients and their pets with the best care and service possible.

We are able to offer your pet(s) a wide range of services at our surgeries, performed by our dedicated team members in a caring and friendly environment. You will only ever have a consultation with fully qualified vet, or nurses using the most suitable equipment and medicines available.

We have facilities to carry out a wide range of diagnostic tests, from routine skin microscopy to detailed blood analysis. This allows us to obtain rapid results (usually within 2 hours) thereby enabling us to treat your pet more promptly. Most surgical cases and investigations are treated as 'day patients' so that they can return home the same evening.
Emergencies

Our out-of-hours emergency care providers, Vets Now, have temporarily closed their clinic in High Wycombe due to staffing challenges. Pet owners who would normally use this facility in an out-of-hours emergency will instead be diverted to Vets Now in Hemel Hempstead, Reading or Harrow, depending on which is nearest.
