Please DO NOT enter before calling. If the phones are engaged, please can you 'pop' your head in and wave to our team, who will then indicate whether it is safe for you to enter or not.

Barton Lodge Veterinary Centre was established in 1958 and since then has been providing quality veterinary care to Hemel Hempstead and its surrounding areas. We are in a convenient location for clients, on the junction of Midland Road and Alexandra Road, and offer a large free car park right next to our practice building.

Carried out by a vet at the time of your pet's annual health check and vaccination or for Pet Health Club members, it can also be carried out by a nurse at the 6 month check. If you are a prospective client, you can request one of our free welcome packs which will give you essential and useful information regarding services provided at Barton Lodge Veterinary Centre.

Your message will be checked by our team, then published on our website. If you have lost your cat you could also check on the lost and found section of the Dacorum Cats Protection website. Beau is a house cat and went missing on the morning of the 04/02/21. He is a black and white long haired cat with a very fluffy tail.

The on-site emergency service, run by Vets Now Hemel Hempstead is available here from 7:00pm to 8:00am and at weekends plus all public holidays. The number to call is 01442 768484. You should always telephone first to alert the Vets Now staff to your pet's emergency. Vets Now are always right here at Barton Lodge Veterinary Centre, in Hemel Hempstead which is central and easily reached from Tring, Berkhamsted, Bovingdon, Kings Langley or Watford.

Payment is required at the time of each consultation. We accept Mastercard, Visa credit cards and Maestro. We regret we can no longer accept cheques. Our vets are happy to provide estimates prior to treatments at your consultation. There is a notice board in the waiting room displaying the range of prices for routine consultations, re-examinations, vaccinations and routine neutering operations and some of the frequently used prescription drugs.
