At Alma Veterinary Hospital we provide a wide range of services to cater for all your veterinary needs. Our consultations are by appointment. We offer appointment times throughout the day Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings. We also offer late appointment times on Mondays and Thursdays. We offer same day appointments and the option to book with the vet of your choice to ensure continuity of care.
Consultation and Waiting Rooms

Going to the vets can be very stressful for your pet so to minimise this we have separate cat and dog waiting rooms. The cat waiting room is sprayed with calming feline pheromones and prevents cats from being too close to dogs. Displays in this room are completely focused on feline care and treatment.
In-House Laboratory

At Alma Veterinary Hospital we have our own in-house laboratory where we are able to run many blood tests, urine tests and analyse various other samples under a microscope. When running samples in-house, often we are able to take a sample from your pet and provide you with the results within 30 minutes, depending on the tests required.
Operating Theatre

At Alma we have a dedicated operating theatre for performing surgical procedures. The operating theatre is a totally separate room minimising the footfall of personnel. Staff working in the operating theatre wear correct theatre attire before entering, this consists of a theatre suit (scrubs), a cap, a mask and shoe covers.
