In 1987 local farmer, Keith Berry started fitting tyres at his farm on Manchester Road, Salterforth, mostly dealing with agricultural tyres. He then saw that there was a demand for tyre fitting in the area and found a garage to rent, behind the Texaco Fuel Station on Kelbrook Road in Barnoldswick.
