Hot stone massage uses Basalt stones, which are specialist polished and hardened volcanic stones as they retain heat, and are smooth thus not damaging your skin when giving the massage. A great way to be introduced to massage as you can remain fully clothed sitting in a chair, or lying down on my massage couch, and is a very relaxing treatment.
