Mayfield Care Home is a family run home that has been in operation for over 20 years and enjoys an excellent reputation for providing quality care. We aim to enable older people to continue living as independently as possible by giving them care and support consistent with their needs. Many of our residents now require higher levels of care and support than was originally planned for residential care services.
Our Team

The Registered Manager at Mayfield Care Home is Nadia Carney. Nadia has been with Mayfield for over 10 years and has her NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care as well as a Diploma Level 5 in Leadership and Management. Nadia also has a wealth of experience in the public and private care sector and has proven her skills in dealing with a variety of complex care issues.

Our aim at Mayfield Care Home is to provide an excellent standard of care to all our residents. Those who live in the home or who come in for respite care should be able to do so in accordance with their own individual requirements and should benefit from the care given. Mayfield Care Home aims to provide its residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, well-being and comfort are of prime importance.
Medical Care

Administering medicines is an important part of our role. All medicines are ordered on the resident's behalf and administered as directed, normally 4 times per day. This ensures that the correct medicine is taken at the correct time - no more guessing or trying to remember whether you've had your medicine!

Everything we do is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our residents. We will ensure that the facilities, resources, policies, activities and services of the home remain resident-led. We are committed to achieving our stated aims and objectives and we welcome the scrutiny of our service users and their representatives.
