Self-Catering Cottages
West Ord offers three fully equipped self-catering cottages sleeping 4-6 guests. Each property includes kitchen facilities, living areas, and outdoor spaces. Linen, towels, and basic provisions are provided. Properties cater to families, couples, and groups seeking flexible accommodation with modern comforts in a rural setting.
Pet-Friendly Accommodation
Selected cottages welcome pets with specific guidelines. Shepherds Cottage allows one dog with restrictions on furniture and unsupervised access. A 20 charge applies per stay. Guests must exercise pets away from designated lawn areas.
Log Fires
Open fires are available in all cottages from October to May at no extra cost. Outside this period, logs can be purchased separately. Fires provide traditional heating alongside storage heaters and panel heating systems in each property.
Tourist Information
Comprehensive local maps and activity guides are provided in each cottage. Guests receive recommendations for nearby attractions including beaches, castles, and walking routes. Information covers seasonal events and regional highlights in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.

Would highly recommend these lovely cottages. We have been coming here for at least 15 years and have always had a wonderful time. My daughters aged 11 and 13 love it too. They can pop to the cottage next door to see their Nana Grandad and Great-grandad. Carol and her husband are wonderful hosts. The cottages are clean with well stocked utensils and very covid-safe. You bag your bed linen before you leave and place all tea-towels and towels in the bath for the cleaning staff. You will not be disappointed

We stayed in the dog friendly Tweed Cottage. It's a stunning cottage, has everything you could possibly need as is a definite home from home. It's that warm and cosy we didn't use the log burner for our week stay in Feb ! Carol is lovely and offers fab advice, Tesco deliver and it's in a perfect spot to visit all the North of the county has to offer. The little bakery in Eyemouth does fabulous steak pies! We will be visiting West Ord cottages again

Very well equipped and comfy cottage. We were lucky with the weather but not so lucky with the fishing! Lovely, peaceful area with plenty of nice walks. We will be back as there is so much still to see and do.

We shared a wonderful family holiday here and loved it so much we are looking to return. A short walk down to the Tweed for fishing or canoeing and plenty of other things to see and do that a week will not be long enough. Cannot recommend enough. The owners are lovely also.

Just back having spent a relaxing week at Till Cottage 4/8/2018. Lovely place to stay, comfy, well equipped a real home from home. Busy time on the farm getting crops cut never the less interesting to see. A very warm welcome on arrival, many thanks Carol for our stay, hope to return at a later date.
