The Boathouse is a beautiful high spec romantic hideaway within the grounds of Middleton Hall in Northumberland. Completely secluded with floor to ceiling glass framing the lake and wildlife. We were fortunate to see an otter during our stay in May 2019 and at the end we did not want to leave.

Our wedding videography company Starkfilm Weddings has filmed here three times in the past five years and every single time theyve treated and looked after us behind the scenes as if we were the guests themselves, always look forward to filming here when the opportunity comes along, fantastic staff, fantastic set up and set in the most beautiful scenery you could ask for!

Great wedding location where we had the most wonderful family wedding. All the staff were impeccable, the food was excellent I couldn't pick any faults and fully recommend this place for a break away, wedding or large group get together. There are also fantastic beaches near by with lots of sand dunes and very well mentained.
