Dominic Walmsley was apprenticed in 1989 after serving under a traditional goldsmith/silversmith in Putney. He established his own business in 1991 in a small workshop in the East End of London, moving to Clerkenwell Green in 1996 when his workforce increased and more space was needed.
After moving to Sevenoaks with his family Dominic felt that it was the perfect location to open his second shop, being closer to home whilst maintaining his London studio. When the lease on the studio expired in 2017 Dominic took the opportunity to bring both the workshop and shop together under one roof in Sevenoaks.

Our jewellery valuation charges range from 65 to 75 depending on the value of the item. Your jewellery will be cleaned and professionally photographed before being printed for you. Also, your valuation will be kept on our system so that when the valuation needs updating, in the future, we can re-value the piece at a reduced rate of 45 per item.
Engraving
Report
All of our engraving is done by hand by award winning engravers who are at the top of their profession. The options for engraving are almost limitless and do contact us with any specific enquiries. A fabulous gift for any special occasion, this pendant can be engraved on the front and back with names, special dates in roman numerals, personal messages or even a combination of all three.
Caring For Your Jewellery
Report
For most pieces that are set with stones, I suggest warm soapy water and an old toothbrush. Soak the ring in very warm soapy water for a few minutes and then give the back of the setting a good scrub. Rinse again in warm water and dry with a tissue. The diamonds should now be sparkling again.
To prevent silver tarnish build-up, a dulling that naturally occurs when silver reacts with sulphur or hydrogen sulphide in the ambient air you will need to clean your silver jewellery using polishes formulated specifically to remove tarnish.Tarnish is most easily removed when it first becomes visible.
