Your Trusted Recording Studio in West London
Established in 1981, Roosterstudios has built a reputation as a premier recording studio in West London. Our facility combines decades of industry experience with cutting-edge technology, offering clients access to a 48-channel analogue Otari Status console, extensive UAD and DSP processing power, and a curated collection of vintage and modern outboard gear. The studio's acoustically treated spaces accommodate bands, ensembles, and voiceover artists, supported by a team of seasoned engineers including founder Nick Sykes and engineer Lloyd Jukes. Our commitment to technical excellence is reflected in our client roster, which spans Grammy-winning artists, film production companies, and game developers. We maintain a focus on innovation, having transitioned from 32-track digital systems in the 1980s to modern DAW integration while preserving classic analogue capabilities.

The studio's infrastructure includes Nuendo 13 software, Radar V digital recorders, and a comprehensive plugin suite from UAD, Waves, and Izotope. Our track record of working with high-profile acts like Jamiroquai and The Divine Comedy demonstrates our ability to deliver professional-grade recordings. We prioritise client collaboration, offering both attended and unattended mixing sessions in a climate-controlled environment. The studio's location in Shepherds Bush provides convenient access to central London's creative industries while maintaining a productive atmosphere free from urban noise interference.

The control room features a 48-channel Otari Status console and vintage compressors like Neve 33609 and Urei 1176. Clients benefit from our extensive microphone collection including Brauner VMA and Manley Gold models.
Voiceover Production
We specialise in professional voiceover recording for TV, film, podcasts, and corporate videos. Our iso booth provides optimal acoustic conditions while our signal chain includes Avalon VT737 and GML2020 channel strips. The studio has produced content for museum installations, audiobooks, and games companies using Antares Auto-Tune and Melodyne pitch correction tools.
Mixing Services
Our engineers create polished mixes using a hybrid approach combining analogue outboard gear and digital plugins. The mixing environment features B&W monitors and climate control for consistent acoustics. We utilise UAD plugins, Waves SSL emulations, and Izotope RX for precise spatial imaging and frequency balancing across all music genres.
Mastering
We offer mastering services to prepare recordings for commercial release. Using our Lynx Aurora N interface and Nuendo 13 software, we apply final EQ adjustments, dynamic processing, and stereo enhancement. The process incorporates both digital tools like Ozone and analogue chain components including Focusrite RED 7 equalisers to ensure optimal playback across all media formats.
Post-Production
Our facility handles complete post-production workflows for film, TV, and games. This includes dialogue editing, sound design, and 5.1 surround mixing.
