The offline option allows unlimited revisions through remote collaboration, with all mixing work completed post-session at no additional hourly cost, ensuring your tracks achieve commercial release standards through our iterative review process.
Mastering

Do you work with unsigned artists?
Yes, we specialise in supporting unsigned talent with discounted rates and flexible production packages. Our ethos since 1994 has focused on making professional recording accessible to emerging musicians while maintaining industry-standard quality.
What is your cancellation policy?
A £60 non-refundable deposit is required to secure sessions, deducted from final payment. This policy helps protect against last-minute cancellations while allowing flexible booking adjustments with reasonable notice.
How does offline mixing work?
Our remote mixing service allows unlimited revisions through file sharing. Engineers deliver review mixes via Dropbox, with all adjustments included in the fixed fee. This eliminates time constraints while maintaining professional quality through iterative collaboration.
What equipment do you have?
Both studios feature Allen & Heath mixing desks, premium microphones (including Neumann U87 and AKG models), and advanced monitoring systems. Woking has a Saber analogue desk while Darwen uses an A&H Sigma 24L, complemented by extensive software plugins and outboard gear.

I wouldn't want to record anywhere else, with anyone else. Ive worked with Jez as far back as about 15 years, and every time he has put 100% into each session. The studio has pretty much everything you need to make a great sounding record. Also i like that the location gives the session a certain 'realness' that you don't get in a plush high end studio, and not to mention the very reasonable rates for either a half or full day.

Jez Larder mixed my album HONEYTRAP at Skyline Studios with incredible speed and efficiency. With his technical wizardry and sensitive production ears he made songs that were essentially recorded in my spare room sound really impressive. He was never flapped by my incessant flow of creative demands and did everything he could to realise the sounds in my head to make a final product which Ill always be very proud of.
