Gillian's Riding School is a popular riding school in Enfield, North London. There is a place for every rider at Gillian's as we are open 7 days a week and have a variety of horses to ride suitable for all levels, including disabilities. We cater for lessons from 4 years old and up and 15 minute pony rides are available for younger riders.
Regardless of your ability we have horses, ponies and instructors that will be perfect for your level. From beginning to advanced, we are here to help. We have Just built a brand new Indoor arena and have 2 outdoor arenas. All of our Arenas are floodlit allowing you to book a lesson time that suits you.

Cross Country Course
Report
Our cross country course is suitable for all Jumping riders. The jumps range from 1ft to 2ft 9 inches over lightly undulating terrain, Including Steps and a Drop. Our course is available to book for riding lessons on our riding school horses or bring along your horse for a lesson with either Gillian BHSAI or Hayley BHSAI.
Pony Day & Mornings / Afternoons

These clubs are for the pony mad! we have different activities or competitions and they are suitable for all levels of rider including beginners! You will get to interact with the ponies learning all about how to care for them, and you will get to feed them under supervision of our staff. Some days are themed with treasure hunts, treat making for ponies and lots of other pony activities.
Pony Club

Pony club is an excellent way for children to build up knowledge and understanding of horses and ponies along side of their riding lessons. All our pony club sessions are un mounted and are focused on learning about the care of the horse and pony. Members will work towards Pony Club achievement badges and progressive riding level care.
Birthday Parties

At Gillian's we cater for large or small parties, and we can even bring a pony to your house! If you have any special requirements please give our team a call at the office. We can even dress the ponies up with feathers in your colour theme and bring ponies to your house for pony rides! 15 mins riding and 15 mins pony grooming.

For that special occasion why not buy a Gillian's Riding School Gift Voucher? You can choose whatever you would like it for (individual or group lessons/woodland rides or block bookings). Valid for 12 months, there is plenty of time for the lucky recipient to decide how to spend it! All bookings must be paid for at the time of booking, please note all cancellations will still be charged at full price unless 48 hours notice.
