Kay has completed over 4 years of study at The Northern college of Acupuncture in York. She continued her studies for several years and has been awarded a Master Of Science Degree for her research. Kay is experienced in a wide variety of conditions including muscular skeletal conditions, cancer, infertility, pregnancy.

During your first consultation a detailed case history is built and treatment plan formulated. You will be asked about current and previous medical history. Emotional, lifestyle and dietary aspects are also discussed. Treatment may be using fine acupuncture needles, massage, cupping or moxibustion, a treatment using the burning of herbs.
Cancer Treatments

Kay has spent over 10 years working with Cancer patients. Kay has experience providing treatments for side effects of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy. Medication can cause a lot of side effects. Common complaints such as nausea and vomiting can be greatly reduced. Acupuncture can provide a state of relaxation and aid sleep, benefiting patients going through these very difficult treatments.
