I bought a Suzuki Ignis a year ago for 3000. I took it to renew its MOT and was quoted 1000 for repairs as it failed. My garage are dubious about the car's history as for the last few years its annual mileage is about 800 miles. The last MOT had no advisories. My garage is also dubious about this due to the extent of rusting and parts which need renewing. There also seems to be evidence of black paint over rusted areas. I already had to have a new clutch at a cost of 560 six months after purchase.
