Like a lot people my first interaction with carpet was as a child. My uncle managed a large carpet store and every time I went to visit I remember it like a giant playground. Climbing up colourful carpet stands, running, jumping and rolling myself in and out of every nook and cranny - it was so much fun.
When he offered me a job at 14 to be the 'Hoover Boy' on the weekends to earn some extra pocket money I jumped at the chance! Proving myself as a reliable and hardworking individual I was given more and more responsibility and soon made it to Sales Director. A few years down the line I opened up my own shop.
