On a bitterly cold November night, 8 of us were made to feel so welcome for a superbly cooked meal with drinks and desserts. Great, friendly staff, an excellent choice of drinks, large , filling, well cooked meals. Will definitely be recommending this place. Now we need to try it out in the summer...😎

Had the Ox cheek, delicious. Broccoli a bit too aldente for me but the dumpling was superb. Chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice cream for dessert also very nice.

We enjoyed our winter Sunday lunch at the Ufford Crown. There were other dinners (eg curry) also being served alongside so good for a mixed party. The roast dinner options were wide - vegetarian, duck, beef, lamb, chicken, and a pork belly! Each with all the trimmings. The tables and decor means it feels cosy and comfortable. The food is tasty and the service is quick enough without being rushy, the wait-staff are nice. Toilets are clean but were out of paper towels for hand drying on this visit. Would recommend here for a Sunday lunch.

As a party of eight walkers staying in Ufford on a walking weekend, we were delighted by the superb food at the Crown; we shared two Crown Platters as a starters and had a variety of delicious main courses and the Beef and Venison Curry was outstanding, as well as the Pork Belly! Great service on a busy Friday evening and we all thoroughly recommend this pub.

Our first time visiting The Crown in Ufford and Wow what a wonderful experience. The decor is cosy and welcoming. The staff pleasant and attentive, but not annoyingly over the top.The food however is by far the . I'm often a bit reticent to have Roast Dinner that aren't home cooked as it tends to be that the quality dips. Often no fault of the chef, just the reality of mass catering. However The chefs at the Crown have changed my mind on this. Our meals - Confit Duck and Roast Beef hit all the notes and above. Can't wait to go again, to all the staff THANK YOU!

A truly superb dinner last night. Often I look at a menu and there is only one or two things I fancy. Not here. The choice was excellent so I struggled to choose. The food was outstanding complimented by very good service and pleasant decor. No wonder we had to book for an early sitting. If there hadnt been a large puddle outside the door due to the severe rain, the evening could not have been faulted. Well done.
