Starting out as a Wedding and Event coordinator with a well know hotel chain in my early 20's, I was always the go to person to organise any type of event. I highly recommend her as an event planner as I didn't lift a finger, from sending out the invitations, managing my guest list, to the co-ordination on the evening! My favorite type of venues are 'DIY' or dry hire venues, as these provide couples with a blank canvas for you to get creative and truly make a celebration that's bespoke and individual to you. You may even be planning to hold your celebration at home in the garden with a marquee.
However, marquees events and dry hire venues do need a lot of consideration and a lot of planning both in the run up to the big day and in the set-up, either the day before or on the actual day.You will need to consider such elements as toilets, provision of water and power as well as all the usual event necessaries.
