I started Real Green Dress in 2012, after a long career in conservation with national museums. Now I get to be creative with designing and indulge my love of vintage at the same time. People are always telling me how lucky I am to have such a wonderful job. I never forget it is made possible by my various and diverse customers, who are the nicest of people.
We all like to do our bit for the environment (I've yet to meet a customer who doesn't) but when it comes to planning a wedding or an event, being green isn't always easy. The 'Real' in Real Green Dress is a good start, wearing real vintage dresses must be the most glamorous side of recycling. For brides there are two collections to choose from; Pure, original restored vintage and Evolution, a unique collection of remodelled gowns.
