Trained as a stockbroker and barrister before moving into private client investment management in 1980, with Dunbar Fund Managers. Formerly Chief Investment Officer of Rathbone Bros plc. He established Ruffer Investment Management Limited in 1994, which transferred its investment business to Ruffer LLP in 2004.
We aim to provide a first class service that combines good investment returns with efficient administration and clear reporting. Each of our direct clients has access to their dedicated portfolio manager. The portfolio manager, supported by their team, is responsible for the day to day management of the client's portfolio, and all other aspects of their relationship with Ruffer.
