Kim Maidment at The Acupuncture Clinic was recommended to me by a professional physiotherapist due to the acute joint pain and very debilitiating exhaustion following a medical diagnosis of Genetic Haemochromatosis - a serious and life threatening illness in July 2017. At the time of my first visit to Kim in October 2017 my Ferritin (Iron) levels were 980 and poisoning my body (a healthy normal range is 30 - 70) and I was borderline anaemic with a haemoglobin level of 13 (normal range is 17 -22) which was affecting the potential for any medical treatment.
