Your Trusted Childcare Partner in Buckinghamshire
Established in 1991, Barnowls Nursery was founded on the principle of providing quality childcare in a home-from-home environment. Our philosophy centres on creating a safe, stimulating space where children thrive through play-based learning and individualised care. We adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, delivering structured education across seven key areas while maintaining a strong focus on emotional well-being and creativity. Our experienced team, many of whom have worked here for over two decades, combines professional expertise with genuine care to support each child's unique development. We offer tailored programmes for ages 3 months to 5 years, with dedicated rooms like Snowies and Eagles catering to different developmental stages. Our outdoor facilities and arts activities encourage exploration and self-expression, complemented by nutritious home-cooked meals prepared daily.

Through consistent communication and partnership with families, we ensure parents feel confident in our care. Our reputation for excellence has grown steadily through word-of-mouth recommendations and positive Ofsted inspections. We also provide after-school clubs at local schools, extending our nurturing approach beyond regular nursery hours. With a team including qualified SENCO staff, we accommodate special dietary needs and individual requirements effectively. Our commitment to maintaining high standards while embracing innovation ensures children receive both traditional warmth and modern educational benefits.

My little boy started at 8 months, he’s nearly two now and absolutely loves it. He’s been looked after fantastical and runs into nursery on his days. He’s made lots of friends and the staff are always kind and caring.
