We just sold our property and bought another on the south coast .

Conveyancing solicitors are notoriously criticised for slow response rate and dragging out sales. Not carpenters. My solicitor made the impossible happen and I managed to complete within 8 weeks. If it wasnt for her proactivity my sale and purchase wouldnt have been possible. She was thorough and responsive throughout, I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell.

This is a late review, but late better than never. Gavin was the solicitor when I was purchasing a flat in London back to May and June this year. I wanted to complete the transaction by 30 June to save on stamp duty. I appointed Gavin as my solicitor in the mid of May, and 2 days later I went overseas for 2 months. When Gavin accepted the job (some firms stopped taking in any jobs or asked for a double normal price at that time), I offered him a bonus for completing before 30 June. He declined but assured me they would do their best! During the time I was overseas, regardless the unusual high demands
