Services
Biomechanical Assessment
A comprehensive evaluation of foot biomechanics to identify abnormalities affecting gait and posture. Using clinical expertise, we assess how foot function impacts overall mobility and pain, forming the basis for targeted interventions. Ideal for individuals experiencing chronic foot, ankle, or lower limb discomfort.
GaitScan Analysis
Computerised pressure plate technology to detect irregular foot function during movement. This diagnostic tool maps gait patterns, highlighting issues that may cause injury or pain. Results guide orthotic design and treatment strategies for improved biomechanical efficiency.
Orthotic Prescription
Tailored orthotic devices designed using biomechanical data, sport-specific needs, and footwear requirements. These insoles correct alignment issues, reduce pain, and enhance performance by addressing individual foot mechanics and activity demands.
Sports Injury Treatment
Specialised management of sports-related foot and lower limb injuries, including acute and chronic conditions. We employ evidence-based therapies to accelerate recovery, prevent recurrence, and optimise athletic performance for runners, footballers, and other athletes.
Armaskin Socks
High-performance anti-blister socks designed to reduce friction and prevent foot injuries during physical activity. Ideal for athletes and individuals with medical conditions prone to blistering, offering enhanced comfort and protection during sports or daily wear.

This was my second visit to see Lindsay. Id had my first set of orthotics for about 7 years (which had been great) but due to my being so busy, I never got round to getting them refurbished (didnt want to be without them either!) In the meantime however, more recently, I noticed my left knee had started clicking every time I went upstairs/uphill which was quite unnerving! I saw my physio 1st and asked, while I was there, if she thought it might be due to my needing my orthotics refurbishing, which she said it might well be. Well, since seeing Lindsay and my prescription needing a slight change

I visited Axis Podiatry Clinic around 2 months ago following a stress fracture to my ankle. I was unable to run any distance without a sharp pain in my ankle. Lindsay was very helpful took the time to understand me as a runner she was so professional with helping reach a diagnosis with the issues with my ankle and recommended orthotics insoles. I have been using the orthotics for around 2 months now and havent experienced any ankle pain. I would highly recommend Axis Podiatry Clinic to anyone needing help in this area. Thank you so much Lindsay for all you have done for me in getting me back

Lindsay Had helped my wife out with a foot problem when training for a marathon a couple of years ago so when i developed a foot and knee issue while running this year i booked an appointment to see if she could help me..Right away she diagnosed the problem and with the help of gait analysis she ordered me some custom orthotics...now happy to say i'm back running i'm pain free and doubt i'll ever look back. Lindsay really knows her stuff, she's friendly and attentive and i felt in safe hands with my investment..so cant recommend her enough.

Cant rate Lindsay highly enough. After using off the shelf insoles for years to help severs heel and plantar fasciitis for our son , now 13, and attending many physio sessions elsewhere, we visited Lindsay who carried out a full gait scan analysis, gave exercises to do at home and ordered specific insoles. There was a huge improvement in movement and pain levels which meant our son could ease back into his sports after months off. More expensive than shop bought insoles but well worth the extra investment, with Unbelievable results, wish we had discovered Lindsay years ago.

Its now been almost 3 years since I first contacted Lindsay about problems I was having with my foot whilst training for a marathon. At the time she diagnosed a 2nd metatarsal stress fracture which after an MRI was confirmed, she also suggested I could be Vit D deficient which was confirmed after a blood test. Lindsay recommended the custom orthotics which I purchased and have never looked back. I've trained for 2 further marathons and completed a virtual ultra last year (43 miles) without any further issue. I have always had lower leg issue when weekly mileage has increased which I've had to
