We had an absolutely fantastic couple of nights during NYE at the Craven Heifer. We stayed in the Crow's Nest room which was really comfortable and had a great view of the sunrise. Breakfast was delicious as was the dinner we had one evening. Very friendly and attentive waiters. Oh, and the beer cellar is incredibly well managed.

Weve just come home from a family meal at this lovely village pub and it was excellent. We havent been since the new owners to over during lockdown, and I have to say it was really good. The food was delicious! Were all foodies in our family, and are hard to please when it comes to food. But it was brilliant. And the service was really smiley, friendly, fast & efficient. The waiters & waitresses couldnt do enough for us. Bravo to the new owners and their team at The Heifer.. we will be back soon for sure! Thank you!

Stayed in The Crows Nest room beautiful, clean, enormous and very comfy bed! Friendly staff who went above and beyond to find my husbands glasses and post them back to us, great customer service! Plus perfectly placed for attending a wedding at The Tithe Barn. Pub looks lovely too, we had room only but our friends said the breakfast was amazing. 10/10

Excellent room; we stayed in "cabaret" with powerful new shower and bath. Fantastic meal, a cut above pub grub. The place was fairly busy even on an out of season Tuesday. Breakfast was delicious- lots of choice. I had poached eggs on spinach with with bernaise sauce. Eggs cooked to perfection!

Had an amazing Sunday dinner here today. The beef was cooked in a water bath and was delicious. The truffle mash was out of this world. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Stopped over on Saturday night. would highly recommend. the food both evening and breakfast was absolutely fantastic credit to the chef! all the staff were friendly and welcoming and hard working.
