Kiln Dried Logs
Our kiln-dried hardwood logs achieve moisture content below 20% through controlled drying processes. This ensures cleaner combustion, reduced creosote buildup, and higher heat output compared to traditionally air-dried wood. Ideal for open fires and wood-burning stoves, these logs burn longer while meeting environmental standards. Each crate contains uniform logs ready for immediate use without additional seasoning.
Smokeless Fuels
Certified Woodsure Ready to Burn fuels offer cleaner combustion with 30% longer burn times than traditional house coal. These smokeless briquettes produce minimal ash while maintaining high heat output, suitable for multi-fuel stoves and exempt appliances in smoke-controlled areas. Available in various formulations including anthracite blends and manufactured heat logs.
Biomass Wood Pellets
UK-manufactured wood pellets made from 100% virgin wood fibre provide a carbon-neutral alternative to fossil fuels. Packaged in 15kg bags on pallets, these ENplus-A1 certified pellets ensure consistent quality for domestic and commercial biomass boilers. Their low moisture content and high calorific value deliver efficient heating while reducing carbon footprints.
Garden Products
Bulk delivery of landscaping bark, ericaceous compost, and multi-purpose growing mediums supports large-scale gardening projects. Our 50L compost bags and bark chips provide cost-effective solutions for soil improvement and decorative ground cover. Available in full or half pallet quantities for both domestic and commercial customers.
Fireside Accessories
Plastic coal bunkers and firelighter packs complement solid fuel purchases. Storage solutions maintain fuel dryness while preventing debris contamination, improving combustion efficiency. Firelighters enable safe, consistent ignition for both wood and smokeless fuel applications, with options for traditional and eco-friendly lighting methods.
Questions
Can I get Saturday fuel deliveries?
Saturday deliveries require orders placed by Wednesday 12 noon with a £60 surcharge. Contact us directly to arrange weekend delivery.
Do you deliver nationwide?
We use national couriers for UK-wide delivery while handling local orders ourselves. All regions receive consistent service quality regardless of distance.
What if I'm dissatisfied with products?
Return goods within 7 days in original condition. We'll charge for return delivery but offer full refunds for damaged or incorrect items.
Which fuels work with open fires?
Since 2023's coal ban, we recommend Woodsure-approved smokeless fuels and kiln-dried logs. These meet environmental standards while maintaining traditional fire aesthetics.
Can I burn smokeless fuels in wood stoves?
Multi-fuel stoves with grates accept smokeless fuels. Check manufacturer specifications for wood-only stoves, which require grate removal for alternative fuel use.
How should I store firewood?
Keep wood in ventilated shelters away from ground moisture. Stack properly to maintain 20% moisture content, using covered storage to preserve kiln-dried quality.
