New Inn Pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy offering a prescription collection and delivery service throughout New Inn, Pontypool and some areas of Cwmbran. We offer an online repeat prescription ordering service, making it easier for you to obtain your regular medication. We dispense both NHS and private prescriptions and can provide FREE treatment for minor ailments and smoking cessation.
Our staff are always on hand to advise you on the use of over-the-counter and prescription medicines. We have a Private Consultation Room available where you can speak to our staff in confidence or access our FREE annual medicines check-up service (Medicines Use Review).

As your local community pharmacy we can offer a wide range of services and facilities for you and your family. We dispense NHS and private prescriptions and advise on how best to take your medicines. We will record prescriptions we dispense on our computerised Patient Medication Record to enable us to check suitability of your medication and check for interactions.

In order to make your life a little easier you can now order your prescription in a number of different ways. You can now order your prescription by downloading the Pill Manager app for your smart phone. You can order you prescription whenever you want with the free app and it's easy to register. Required to receive a text message to inform you when your Prescription is ready for collection. I give permission for New Inn Pharmacy to receive my prescriptions from the surgery either by collection, by post or by electronic transfer. I will contact the pharmacy if I want to change this arrangement.
Common Ailments

The common ailments service offers patients access to free NHS advice and treatment for common ailments that cannot be managed by self care. The service offers an alternative to making an appointment with the GP to discuss the following 26 conditions. The service can be used by any patient who lives in Wales or is registered to a Welsh GP practice.
Smoking Cessation

We provide a free NHS stop smoking service from our pharmacy, without the need to see a GP. We offer private one-to-one consultations with an experienced, trained advisor and weekly support to motivate and guide you to a healthier life. We provide a range of products to help a successful quit, including nicotine replacement therapy or tablets if they are suitable for you.
