Staff really helpful , seated us without any problem. Good selection of beer. Very dog friendly. Unfortunately the food was not to our taste. Possibly poor food choice on our part as been before and food lovely.

6 of us went for food from the Christmas menu. We all ate 3 courses and every meal on every course was beautiful, it really was.

Amazing area! So cozy and lovely, a really nice place for a relaxing get away!! Prices are reasonable, food is great and friendly staff who make the experience worth it! Would recommend.

Fantastic place to getaway from City life. Perfect for couples. Food was lovely and the staff were extremely welcoming. Definitely will be back again at some point in the future.

Wonderful pub! Great staff who were very welcoming. Warm and cosy. Absolutely top location after a big day of hiking. Also great that dogs are welcome.

A lovely two-night stay in Eskdale for the first time. The food was excellent and the service too. We were in the Wasdale Room which was very clean and comfortable with character and a lovely bathroom. The hotel has a drying room for walking boots which was handy. The bar had a great mix of locals and tourists and a fun quiz on Sunday night at 5.30pm. Thank you all.
