The Great Barn offers exclusive hire of its historic 18th-century Cotswold stone venue for weddings. The space accommodates ceremonies and receptions with capacity for up to 120 guests. Features include exposed oak beams, fairy lighting, and romantic garden areas. The venue provides complete privacy with exclusive use of the 250-acre estate, including outdoor spaces for photography and lawn games. Packages include tables, chairs, linen, and audio-visual equipment.
In-house Catering
Our experienced chefs create bespoke menus using locally sourced ingredients for wedding breakfasts and evening receptions. Options include formal three-course meals, relaxed carving stations, and wood-fired pizzas from our Stable Kitchen. We accommodate dietary requirements and offer tasting experiences to finalise menu selections. Beverage packages feature wines, cocktails, and speciality drinks tailored to client preferences.
Luxury Accommodation
Three beautifully appointed cottages provide overnight accommodation for wedding parties. The Garden Cottage (sleeps 4), Orchard Cottage (sleeps 2), and Stable Cottage (sleeps 4) feature luxury amenities including Egyptian cotton linen and continental breakfast provisions. Located in a courtyard setting, these properties offer comfortable spaces for the wedding party to relax before or after celebrations in the Oxfordshire countryside.

I recently had my wedding reception at The Great Barn. Everything was just wonderful, the venue, the food, all of the staff, catering, the waiters and especially Beth who ran the day so perfectly. Lots of conversations before the big day to ensure what we wanted was done. The venue for photos is stunning, everyone had such a wonderful day. I would highly recommend the Great Barn for any celebration, amazing.

Our postponed Golden Wedding lunch and Ceilidh held last Sunday was just perfect Nothing was too much trouble for the team at The Great Barn. Our sons wedding had been held here 13 years ago and we knew how good everything would be. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. The catering team are outstanding, the staff thoroughly professional and the venue is, of course, stunning. Thank you yet again to you all: Jerry, David and the team.
