Traditionally reared, grass-fed, carefully hung and expertly butchered Barfield's beef makes for supreme eating. We work with farms who raise native pure bred herds and where animal welfare is paramount. Unlike many butchers these days our meat doesn't come to us in a box - we work with the whole carcass which means we can offer you the full range of cuts.

All of our pork comes from pigs that have led happy free-range lives rooting around in the Sussex countryside. Working with small farms that raise traditional breeds such as Old Spots, Tamworths and Saddlebacks we are able to provide you with a mouthwatering range of pork cuts. Cut from our tasty free range Sussex pigs, expertly boned and rolled leg of pork is a cheaper altern.

In a day and age when chicken is considered an unexciting daily staple with little flavour our selection of free range chicken will change that perspective. All our chicken is free-range and additive/antibiotic free. Whether it's our free range Herb-fed bird - which we use for all our chicken cuts - or our slow-grown Fosse Meadow bird you are in for a real treat.
