Services
Osteopathy
Osteopathy addresses musculoskeletal conditions through hands-on treatment, targeting joint pain, back problems, and sports injuries. Our practitioners use soft tissue techniques and joint manipulation to improve mobility. Patients receive tailored rehabilitation plans including exercise programmes and posture correction for long-term recovery.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture combines traditional Chinese medicine with modern practice to treat chronic pain and stress-related conditions. We use fine needles to stimulate energy flow alongside conventional osteopathic techniques. This service addresses headaches, arthritis, and circulatory issues while promoting natural healing processes.
Sports Injury Treatment
Sports injury treatment specialises in rehabilitation for active individuals and athletes. We address ligament sprains, muscle strains, and overuse injuries through targeted therapy. Patients receive sport-specific rehabilitation plans incorporating strength training and movement pattern correction to prevent recurrence.
Cranial Osteopathy
Cranial osteopathy employs subtle techniques for sensitive treatment of headaches, neck pain, and stress-related conditions. This approach benefits patients seeking non-invasive solutions through gentle skull and spine adjustments. It's particularly effective for post-concussion symptoms and chronic tension patterns.
Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy massage addresses musculoskeletal discomfort during pregnancy through adapted techniques. We focus on relieving back pain, swelling, and joint strain while ensuring maternal comfort. This service includes posture advice and self-care strategies for expectant mothers throughout all trimesters.

Report
I have been visiting James Horwood for Osteopathic treatments on and off since 2006, and have recommended him many times. He is warmly welcoming, friendly, personable and professional, after an initial assessment provides a clear explanation of the injury and treatment required. After treatment he assesses your posture and range of movement which is always improved, he provides helpful daily stretching exercises which alleviate any stiffness and pain. I highly recommend this practice.

I absolutely can not recommended James highly enough. He is absolutely brilliant! He is really personable and highly professional. He always explain exactly what he is doing and only ever asks you to come back if it's totally necessary. He is now the first port of call for all my family! My Husband can be literally crawling because of a bad back and after one session with James's he's right as rain. If you are considering seeing an Osteopath you will definitely not regret going to Clevedon Osyeopathic Practice!
