Prescription Services
We manage repeat prescriptions through multiple convenient channels including the NHS App, 24-hour voicemail service, and in-person requests. Medications are processed within two working days, with options for local chemists to collect prescriptions on patients' behalf ensuring timely access to essential medications.
Specialist Clinics
The practice operates specialised clinics for chronic disease management (diabetes, heart disease, respiratory conditions), cervical screening, contraceptive advice, and immunisations. These clinics provide targeted care with annual reviews ensuring optimal management of long-term health conditions through evidence-based protocols.
Extended Hours
We offer pre-bookable appointments outside standard hours including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends across South Tyneside. This service accommodates patients with busy schedules or urgent healthcare needs while maintaining continuity with their regular practice team.

Fantastic doctors, nurses and receptionists. I've been with the same surgery all my life and wouldn't change. They have helped me so much especially the last few months when I've been in a bad place. Always go that extra mile to help you.

I have heard a lot of negative reports today on the news regarding face to face appointments with your GP. I rang with problems this morning, the GP rang me back at lunch time and I had a face to face appointment with her this afternoon. Thank you.
