Michael trained as a dentist at Stellenbosch University and qualified in 1999. He obtained his certificate of accreditation in the field of implantology in 2002. Michael is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology UK. He completed a further certificate in implantology at Warwick University in 2008 and annually attends implant symposiums worldwide.
