Rami Khatib is the owner of Glumangate Dental Practice. He studied at Sheffield University and graduated in 2005 with honours. He took over Chatsworth Dental Care in 2018. He strives for excellence and has transformed the practice with new surgeries and facilities to the highest standards. Rami has an interest in surgical dentistry and enjoys providing cosmetic treatment including crowns and veneers.

If you require emergency dental treatment, if you are suffering with toothache or require treatment in a hurry then ring us on 01246 273 089 to arrange an emergency appointment. What if we can't do the treatment? Sometimes we are unable to carry out the treatment required.
This could be because the teeth are too broken down to remove in the normal way (they may require surgical removal which is when we cut the gum - this requires a much longer appointment) or an infection may block the anaesthetic.In such a case we would carry out any treatment possible to settle the symptoms or remove the pain; this may be a dressing or some antibiotics.

At Glumangate Dental Practice, we understand that many patients are nervous of dental treatment and that there are different reasons for patients' fears. We strive to alleviate patients' nerves and the whole team always makes every effort to make the experience as comfortable as possible. We listen to each individual patient's concerns and discuss all the options available.
Referrals

We offer a referral service for specialist periodontal treatment, implants, and Cone Beam CT Scans. We promise to only undertake the treatment specified in the referral, after which the patient will be discharged back to your care. You will be kept informed of the patient's progress, and we welcome your input and involvement in the treatment where appropriate.
Periodontal Referral

Michael qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2013 and quickly understood how important periodontal health was for his patients. In 2017 he completed the Periodontics Course at the Royal College of Surgeons in London and in the same year joined the British Society of Periodontology. In 2019, Michael started his MSc in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute London.

Richard specialises in placing dental implants and has carried out hundreds of dental implant procedures over the past years. These include single tooth implants, multiple implants, implant-retained bridges and implant-supported dentures, as well as bone grafts and sinus lifts. We offer a very simple fee structure to make it simple for patients and referring clinicians.
