We host national and international equestrian competitions across multiple disciplines including British Dressage, Show Jumping, and Eventing. Our facilities accommodate qualifiers, championships, and unaffiliated events with full organisational support. Equestrian Training
Our training programs cater to all skill levels with expert coaching from internationally recognised trainers like Ian Woodhead and Amy Woodhead. Services include flatwork, show jumping, and cross-country instruction. Riders gain access to world-class facilities and structured development pathways to enhance performance and confidence.
Venue Hire
We offer flexible hire packages for our six arenas, cross-country courses, and event spaces. Stabling Services
Our 30 permanent Cheval stables provide secure, comfortable housing for competition horses with rubber matting and shavings. Temporary stables are available for large events, located conveniently near arenas. Services include additional bedding supplies and easy access to training facilities.
Cross-Country Courses
Our 100m x 90m all-weather cross-country arena features BE-standard fences from 60cm to 110cm, water complexes, and natural undulations. Designed for year-round use, it connects to multiple arenas and hosts regular course rebuilds. Riders benefit from consistent training conditions and professional course design.

Julie Hyslop
Centre Owner/Manager
With over 40 years of equine experience, Julie co-founded Vale View Equestrian in 2004. She competed nationally in dressage and eventing, qualified at HOYS, and trained under Pammy Hutton. She now focuses on developing Vale View's facilities and hosting major competitions.
Ian Woodhead
Visiting Trainer
A former National Under 21 Dressage Trainer for 18 years, Ian coached multiple medal-winning teams and top international event riders. He brings decades of expertise in dressage and eventing training to Vale View's visiting trainer program.
Amy Woodhead
Visiting Trainer
Internationally accomplished dressage rider Amy Woodhead offers training sessions at Vale View. Daughter of Ian Woodhead, she represented GB at pony and young rider levels and competed up to Grand Prix Dressage.
Emma Hyslop-Webb
Resident Trainer
An international 5* event rider, Emma specialises in confidence-building training for horse and rider partnerships. She offers private lessons and clinics in flatwork, show jumping, and cross-country disciplines on site.
Trish Hardy
Deputy Centre Manager
Trish manages daily operations with extensive horse experience from competing and supporting her daughters' equestrian careers. She ensures smooth venue management and client support services.
